March 6

Here at work again; not much happening today, but it's nice to have a little break so I can post a message on this new blog. Today is youth group night and so I took the bus to work. It is a little exciting to take the bus, like a mini adventure, though this morning sleepiness took over and there was a little dosing going on between stops.

Mr Doug worked on the chicken coop/trailer last night. He took apart a camper last week for a junk yard and salvaged some of the items in it including the frame. He is putting the coop on this frame so it can be moved around as needed. Since we're not sure yet were everything will be located and in the summer it might be nice to have the chickens a little further away from the house and maybe a little closer in the winter this is his solution. He's quite creative when he wants to be.

Hope this summer he'll put all that energy into getting the house ready to move into. It's OK staying in a camper, but it is a little tight for a permanent home. :) It will be a happy day when I can get back into sewing and crafting and perhaps even setting up my own business someday.

Let's see what happened that was interesting this week. My friend Betty and I put together a skirt for the table in the church foyer. It's on the table already and looks quite nice.

I had to purchase a new watch this week after the little timex quit ticking :( ---didn't spend a lot since we're tightening the belts like everyone else.

I'm getting ready for my Sunday School class. We dug my guitar out of storage a few weeks ago and Doug found another at the dump which I restrung and it is fun to use this during Sunday School. The kids love to sing. I can practice at home and leave the other at church so the cold doesn't do it work.

We are expecting more snow tonight, and then warmer temperatures and we're praying that it will be rain and that more snow will melt. Our little camper is feeling more like an igloo.

Happy week end to you all. More later.
